Breccia Rosa, commercially known as Breccia Rosato, is a Jurassic brecciated limestone quarried east of Brescia in the Liguria-Lombardy region of northern Italy. The stone has a characteristic nodular breccia texture with pink-rose body colour. DNSA Stein 440 confirms the Italian origin and limestone classification. Technical data from StoneContact (s12688) at medium confidence: density 2680 kg/m³, water absorption 0.18%, flexural strength 10.5 MPa. As a carbonate limestone it is acid-sensitive. Marketed under the aliases Breccia Rosato Primera Marble, Breccia Roja Marble, and Breccia Rosata Damascata Marble.
