Jerusalem Gold (DNSA Stein 5372, also listed as 'A 32') is a Cretaceous sedimentary limestone quarried around Jerusalem in Israel. It has a warm cream to golden-yellow background with a speckled texture. Polish is possible but not weather-durable; the stone is acid-sensitive and abrasion resistance is lower than hard rocks. DNSA technical data: density 2640 kg/m³, compressive strength 133.3 MPa, compressive strength after frost 107.4 MPa, flexural strength 9.4 MPa, water absorption 0.74%, abrasion resistance 20.65 cm³/50cm² (Italian norm). Primarily suited to interior use; exterior use with honed or bush-hammered finish possible but requires maintenance awareness. DNSA notes the stone is quarried but rarely imported to Germany.
