Argentum (also Travertino Argento, Argentum Travertine) is a silver-beige travertine quarried in Tivoli, in the Lazio region near Rome, Italy. 'Argentum' is the Latin word for silver, used as a market name in German-speaking markets. The stone belongs to the classical Roman travertine family; the 'Argento' variant is characterised by a slightly cooler, silvery-beige tone compared to the classic warm ivory travertine.
