Characterized by its distinctive wood-grain or striped texture, commercially marketed as "Greek White Wood." No DNSA entry found. SC s19734 provides: density 2680 kg/m3, compressive strength 102.62 MPa (N/mm2), flexural strength 37.24 MPa, WA 0.02%. The 37 MPa flex value is high for a marble, consistent with dense Greek metamorphic marbles. SC s19834 (Greek White Wood Marble) corroborates same origin (Veria/Imathia) but reports kg/cm2 values — excluded as likely mislabeled units.
