Paonazetto (Paonazetto Bianco, Bianco Paonazzo, Pavonazzetto Marmi) is a white marble quarried in the Massa Carrara province, Tuscany, Italy — within the broader Carrara marble belt. It is distinguished from the more famous Pavonazzetto breccia (an ancient Turkish purple-veined marble used in Roman antiquity) by its predominantly white, fine-grained character. SC source-3 provides technical data (medium confidence): density 2710 kg/m³, compressive 80–89 MPa, flexural 11.0 MPa, WA 0.20%. As a calcite marble, it is acid-sensitive and the polish is not durable outdoors. DNSA has no entry for this stone.
