Bianco Carrara
Bianco Carrara is one of the world's most widely used marbles — a fine-grained, white to grey-veined Jurassic marble from Carrara, Tuscany, Italy; DNSA confirms density 2710 kg/m3, compressive 133 MPa, acid-sensitive, frost-resistant.

Bianco Carrara (also Carrara Bianco) is a fine-grained white calcitic marble quarried at Carrara in the Apuan Alps, Tuscany, Italy. Among the most historically and commercially significant dimension stones in the world, it has been quarried since Roman times and is used globally in architecture, sculpture, and interior design. DNSA registers four commercial quality grades of this marble — C, A, Unito B, and Unito A — all sharing identical technical properties (INSK 81.2): density 2710 kg/m3, compressive strength 133 MPa (unchanged after frost cycle), flexural strength 12.3 MPa, water absorption 0.1%, abrasion resistance 1.9 cm³/50cm², thermal expansion 0.63 mm/m/100K. The stone is frost-resistant but acid-sensitive — typical for calcitic marbles. DNSA notes that polished finishes are not durable in exterior conditions. Appearance varies by grade: the C grade is typically veined (grey cloud-like veining on white); Unito grades are more uniform and tend toward white with minimal veining. Very frequently used in Germany per DNSA availability notes.
