Lyon Grey is a decorative grey stone quarried in China. SC source s24132 (Lyon Grey Quartzite) describes it as a fine-grain dark grey quartzite with lighter ash-grey shading. The input group 'Sandstone' and alias 'Lyon Grey Sandstone' suggest some suppliers classify it as a sandstone; SC calls it quartzite. This ambiguity is common for Chinese grey stones on the quartzite/sandstone boundary. No DNSA entry exists. No numeric technical data is available from standard sources. Suitable for building stone, exterior and interior wall cladding, flooring, pool coping, and paving. Two SC pages for Babylon Cream/Grey Marble (Turkey) appeared in the search and are excluded as false positives.
