Rosa Bellissimo is a decorative marble quarried in the Yatagan district of Mugla province, Turkey. It is also sold as Rosa Aphrodite, Rosa Bellissima, Bianco Rosa Marble, and numerous spelling variants. SC sources s7273 and s1813 cross-reference each other and confirm the same origin, appearance, and technical profile. The stone is white to pale pink with light veining — typical of the Mugla marble belt. Technical data from SC: density ~2720-2725 kg/m3, water absorption 0.17-0.18%, flexural strength 14.1-19.8 MPa, compressive strength 50.5-101 MPa. The wide compressive range likely reflects variability between quarry blocks or test methods. No DNSA registration exists. As a carbonate marble it is acid-sensitive; suitable for interior flooring, countertops, and wall cladding. WA below 0.2% allows cautious exterior use in sheltered positions.
