Piedra Paloma (also Caliza Blanca Paloma, White Paloma Limestone, Paloma Stone, Piedra Blanco Paloma) is a white limestone from Matagallar Quarry, Pedrera, Sevilla, Spain. SC source s22687 is the sole standard source; no DNSA entry exists. Note: 'Paloma Limestone' (SC s10139, grey, France/Arudy) is a different stone that coincidentally shares the alias. Queued under 'Marble' — trade practice for polished limestone; petrographic classification is limestone. Technical data from SC: density 2428 kg/m³, WA 3.7%, flexural 11.2–13.8 MPa, compressive ~98.8 MPa. Suitable for interior/exterior wall and floor applications, pool coping, sills, and ornamental stonework.
