It is closely related to Birzeit Grey, Jerusalem Grey, and Jerusalem Deep Blue — all names for grey limestone from the same quarry area. SC data from s6797: density 2669 kg/m³, compressive strength 138.2 MPa, flexural strength 17.4 MPa, water absorption 0.4%. SC s7791 (Birzeit Grey) provides corroborating values (density 2675, comp 139.5, flex 18.1, WA 0.7%). The stone is widely used for building stone and cladding in the region and internationally.
