Roma Imperiale Beige (Roma Imperiale Quartzite, Roma Imperial Granite) is a metamorphic quartzite from the quarrying region of Northeast Brazil (Ceará and surroundings). Warm creamy beige background with golden brown, grey, and silver veining. Technical data (SC s13763): density 2650-2750 kg/m3 (2.65-2.75 g/cm3), compressive strength 100-150 MPa, flexural strength 12-16 MPa, water absorption 0.10-0.20%. No DNSA entry. A highly sought-after stone in the premium countertop market, often marketed as 'quartzite' or 'granite' interchangeably. 'Beige' designates the standard warm-toned colourway.
